Madonna is on a roll.
For, the Queen of Pop has just reached a major chart milestone in the United Kingdom and in the United States.
Taking to press, the Official Charts Company unveiled this week’s top albums. On it, Madonna’s new remix collection called Finally Enough Love blasted onto the charts at #3.
As a result of its high chart entry, she has now gone on to score a massive 23 top 10 albums in the country.
Finally Enough Love was previously in contention for the #1 spot and had it done so, it would have become her 13th chart-topper. Had she done this, it would have put her in second place with Elvis and Robbie Williams for the second-most #1 albums in the country. Only the Beatles would have more at 15.
Regardless, the album debuted at #8 in the United States on the Billboard 200 chart. As a result, the Hung Up songstress has now become the first woman with a newly-charting top 10 title in the last 5 decades.
Finally Enough Love contains previously released dance remixes, as the set celebrates Madonna’s 50 #1s on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart.
