Madonna has done it again! Her show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena last week was a smash. She is definitely still The Queen of Pop.
She gave us 135 minutes of great high energy entertainment with her fantastic costumes, dancers, the band, and. of course, herself. She appeared to be completely at home with her audience, even flirting with two of them. Her Holy Water sequence was as irreverent as anything she has ever done, but that is one of the things expected of her.
Madonna reportedly does not lip-sync as she sang live through out the show. If she does, it’s not noticeable. Not many high energy performers can do this, but she is Madonna. Even though I’ve never been her biggest fan, I did enjoy her and the show.
Madonna is Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, and Britney Spears all rolled into one. Speaking of high energy, we have Janet Jackson when she recovers from her vocal problem and J-Lo when she begins her residency at Planet Hollywood.
